Rather than writing my Fashion Friday Blog last night, I was going through our credit card statements with my husband in the attempt to get our taxes out to our accountants in the next few days.
This morning, I was puttering around the kitchen, feeding the dogs and trying figuring out what on earth I'm going to do as a quick Fashion Friday (emphasis on "quick"). As every morning, I had NPR on as back ground noise. All of of sudden, my ears perk up.
They were talking to local Philadelphia Fashion Designer, Nancy Volpe Beringer, who designed the colorful Faux Fur coat worn by rapper, Tierra Whack.
There you go!!! There's my Fashion Friday!
So I google Tierra Whack (as I've stated several times before, I am so NOT into award shows. First of all, I don't know who most of the people are and I'm always doing something else... like making something while listening to a podcast or doing something fun with my husband like working on taxes... woo hoo!) and I see a coat that would have made the biblical Joseph envious.
The dress itself is constructed with layers of organza and hand painted by another local artist, Liz Goldberg.
Here's the link to the article on WHYY.
Enjoy and see you next Fashion Friday. Hopefully by then I'll have my dinning room table back... free of all the receipts from 2018!
Seriously... this is what my dinning room table looks like:
